NO EATING AFTER 9PM

Monday, May 10, 2010

Late night snacker

"'There’s always been this myth that eating after 9pm is “bad for you.” That it can lead to instant weight gain and cause you to really pack on the pounds. Regardless, I generally try and not eat after 9pm not because I’m dieting, but because the house boy is usually finished work by then... That being said, I’ve been known to get off my ass on the odd occasion and walk down stairs to the cupboards just to see if they have grown something interesting after the last time I opened then.....i usually end up with a stack of rice crackers or a sandwich and a slice of over processed , devoid of any real dairy cheese slice...thus feeding my habit of snacking at night, well it has to change!! and it has.... ever since I read ( listened to - Audio book! -coz I can listen to it in the car ) Jillian Michaels/ Master Your Metabolism...... my eating habbits have changed.

  2. Drink plenty of water, you should be drinking plenty of water even if you aren't trying to lose weight! The human body is made up of 70% water. So to me it's pretty obvious that we need a high daily intake of water to keep the body running efficiently. Water helps transport nutrients that you eat throughout your body. It also plays a role in determining how your cells use these nutrients. If you are not getting enough water intake each day, you are not making 100% use of the nutrients in your diet.

On the other side of the scale water also helps flush your system of waste and bacteria. It's essential for removing toxins from your body. So you can see that water plays a vital role in all bodily functions, so don't underestimate it.

Try adding a little lemon squeeze into it!! it just takes that boring no flavour away!
